Give a Gift to Your Community: Shop Locally

I keep thinking I'm done with my holiday shopping--and then I remember a few more things on my list. My goal is to knock it all out this weekend so that I can relax and actually enjoy the last week before Christmas. When I head out on Saturday morning, I'm going to make sure to shop first at locally owned stores. Not only will I avoid the parking-lot madness and massive crowds that overtake the mall and big-box stores, I'll also be supporting a small-business owner who contributes to my community.
